Any plans for a Whiteboard feature?

Just started using Wildfire and enjoying it a lot. Seems like a really good product.

As my subject line says are there any plans for features such as a Whiteboard or shared use of applications?

You can use the open-source client Coccinella to connect to Wildfire Server.

It has all you need and more. Some features:

  • whiteboard

  • open-source

  • cross-platform

PS: the screenshots in the screenshots section are very outdated. So, doesn’'t judge on that. It is for sure the niciest application written in Tcl/tk ever

I can vouch for the coolness of Coccinella. =D It works quite well both as a simple jabber client with a lot of functionality, and with it’‘s whiteboard functionality. I’‘m not real sure how a server would get involved directly. (but that doesn’‘t mean it’‘s not possible/a good idea) I’'m to understand there is a jabber whiteboarding group that formed somewhere. Sander, are you involved in that? I recall there being a separate mailing list for it or something.
