Is there a way to make your status “appear offline” where if they try to IM you it fails and says that the user is not available as you can IM them no matter what status they have currently (on the phone, Away, Do not disturb, etc)
There is no way to do this in Spark. Probably you are talking about “real DND” feature that i have filed a while ago http://www.igniterealtime.org/issues/browse/SPARK-1026
