In fact, this could touch Asterisk-IM the plugin for wildfire.

If you have an Asterisk server this could make you interconnected via voice, with gTalk users.

Wildfire already provides the IM integration with gTalk ( xmpp native ). You just need to configure it.

Currently you can connect to Asterisk using a SIP Client. ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/tudomais )

I´ll will work next week in finish my SIP plugin for Spark, too.

Hope Helped.

Hi All!

GTalk and Asterisk-IM are two different concepts. Asterisk-IM is a server-side integration and

GTalk is a client-side integration. With Asterisk-IM you are not bound to any special IM or

phone hardware, e.g. you can use Asterisk-IM together with a mobile phone or a fixed line phone.

This makes you very flexible and you can integrate Asterisk-IM into existing infrastructures.

I am not saying Asterisk-IM is the better concept. If you need an all-in-one telephony and IM

solution with easy to use softphones, use GTalk.

Best,

Jens
