We are a small business looking for a way to have our customers be able to contact us via Instant messaging to our sales staff. We have placed SparkWeb on our website that autologs into a user: “customer” and this is perfect. Except that only one customer can connect to us at a time. Is there a way to have a script that checks to see if user “customer” is logged in and if so log into user “customer2” or the customer create a log in name without having to have our domain information?
Maybe you should check Fastpath Service and Fastpath Webchat plugins for Openfire. This is specifically designed to provide customers service (via Spark internal plugin and a webchat part).
