Hi to all

I just like to know where do the avatar stored? is it in the database? or in the program files where spark in installed?

suprisingly it is in both locations. but the one that everyone sees is in the database. the on in the spark folder is the result of a conversion process from the original source to png.

but i believe the database only store the flag regarding the avatar. With regards to the image, where can i found the image? what filename?

It is stored in the database table jivevcard as a binary value, alone with all the other vCard information.

Are animated GIFs or PNGs supported for Avatars?
