Running openfire on CentOS. (Made database, imported file and excecuted)

BUT

I can’t figure this out. Where exactly is the Openfire setup tool?

In the Openfire setup tool, use the following values:

  • driver: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
  • server: jdbc:mysql://[YOUR_HOST]/[DATABASE_NAME]

I would add these values but I can’t find the Openfire setup tool. Thanks!

Hi,

in conf/openfire.xml one can change “true” to "false"while Openfire is not running and then start it. This should allow you to re-run the setup tool again.

It may be a bad idea to edit the system properties in the admin console.
