I am trying to send an image or a small video clip through jabber but over there they told me that I should use something called base64 and it is not like I should send that through the servant, I have to send base64 next to the message.
I don’'t have I devise for where to begin.

Currently Smack does not provide a way to transfer files between XMPP entities. There are quite a few different standards for file transfer so it’'s difficult to choose the right one to implement.
If you want to get more information on the base64 subject you can follow this link http://www.jabber.org/jeps/jep-0047.html[/url]. The idea of this extension (JEP 47) is that binary data is encoded as base64 and transferred over the XMPP network.
