Is there a public download for beta versions?

there is one, but it’‘s not an official one so I wonder what you would do with Spark 1.1.7. As it is very hard (impossible) to give feedback about bugs etc. it makes no sense to download it. In six weeks we’'ll probably see nightly build versions of Spark so you can test a new one every day.
