Hi all,
first of all, I know, that there is a BOSH branch for SMACK. However, it is about two years ago, that someone commited to it and it never got merged with the trunk. I tried to build it myself and got it up and running, but I don’t want to use a two-year-old SMACK version in our systems.
Which leads me to the question: When will BOSH become officially supported by SMACK? SMACK is such a great library and I love using it for all our XMPP usecases - that is, for nearly all, except for those where we would need BOSH due to port restrictions and client capabilities.
There is a Jira-ticket for this issue: http://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/SMACK-187. However, last activity here was a year ago. Am I the only one whishing to use BOSH with SMACK?
Kind regards,
Sven
