Broadcasting Privileges

Hello everyone…

So I would like to know if there is a way to set broadcasting privileges in Openfire or using AD, either on a group or individual basis (I may just not be seeing it – just finished setting up the server… and I must say, this is an amazing application, particularly considering it’s open source). The reason for this is that I would like to limit broadcasting to upper management and I.T.

You can check broadcast plugin’s readme and plugin.broadcast.allowedUsers property (which should be added/changed in Admin Console - System properties). But often clients has their own built-in broadcasting options which cant be controlled by server (their just send multiple single messages in a bunch).
