i found this by pasting a list into a chat session.
once you beyond the visible lines of typing area it will grow, shrinking the top chat window, until it area takes up the whole window… continuing to type will have the cursor run off the bottom of the window.
Might we have a scrollbar in the typing area instead of the chat window gobbling?
