Can a openfire server talk to a different openfire server

Hi every one,

From what i know it is possible to federate different servers which enables a buddy from one server add itself as a contact to an account on a different server, Is this possible to test locally with seperate openfire servers, if so how and is there much documentation on it?

Shouldn’t be a problem. Set up 2 Servers, connect them via s2s and you’re done.
