Can I change somebody else's presence remotely?

Hi,

Is it possible to change somebody else’s presence remotely, using a plugin or something? I see the User Service plugin allows changing of the user’s name, but I want to change their presence text (Out To Lunch, etc). Surely if it’s OK to change their name, it should be possible to change their presence status too?

Can you suggest a plugin or some other way of doing this with code?
