Can I connect to wildfire 3.1 without using TLS?

I run jabberd 1.4 that allows just plain-old TCP connections. For an intranet jabber server, this makes writing silly bots much easier. Can I somehow configure wildfire to allow this sort of log in as well?

Yes, Wildfire is configured to allow non-encrypted connections to port 5222 by default.

I’‘ve been out of touch with wildfire since the 2.4 version. Back then, I don’'t think that was the case. Is this a new feature?
