Can i send a IM message kind of a broadast to a group of users

I am trying to see if openfire can be used as a way to inform a group of users member of a group

sort of a multicast to a group of users but instantly,

not as an email would do

Yes you can send a broadcast message to a group or individual. See the attachment.

I tried many times with a piging client , it does not seems to work

create Groups , put clients into it , propagate groups , semms to work

but sending a message to a group does not work ???

any clue

there must be a method or a spéfic client supported what about spark ?
