Can we use this with a Jabber?

Hello,

Can we use Asterisk-IM/Jive with a jabber server or can you only use this with a jive server?

Asterisk-IM currently only works with Jive Messenger. This is because Asterisk-IM has to bind directly to the presence components in the server so that it can handle presence changes correctly.

Also just to clarify Jive Messenger is a XMPP (jabber) server.
