Cannot login to admin console

strictly from a cost factor I use MySQL. Also the admin tools for MSSQL are a royal PIA.

I understand. Since Openfire is running on a Windows 2003 platform, is it better to download MYSql Windows Essentials or Windows Zip? Also, do you recommend MYSql Enterprise or standard (free)?

I’m not familar with the MYSQL forums out there, so not sure if paying the extra for Ent. would be beneficial or not.

I use essentials and the free version. The admin tools are wonderfully simple.

So I sucessfully installed MySql on Windows 2003. However, when creating the Openfire database via command line, do I need to cd into the sql installation path?

I’ve also installed the MySql Admin tools, so if that would be a better way.

Thanks for the help!

Definitely use the admin tools. Nice gui.
