Cannot run SparkWeb on the machine hosting OpenFire

All –

Please help.

I cannot run SparkWeb on the machine hosting OpenFire.

I have a Windows XP Pro machine and it has OpenFire installed on it.

I am on the intrAnet side of our company’s firewall.

I can login to the admin console…

I can login using the Spark EXE client.

Others (people other than me) who are on the same LAN, on the same intrAnet side of the firewall can go to…

…and login to SparkWeb client.

However, when I, on that same machine that is hosing OpenFire, try to open a browser and go to…

…I get the login page for SparkWeb but when I try to login I get…

“no response from server. please try again”

…so I am stuck.

How can I fix this?

Please advise.

Hi,

Could you try to set your hostname in HOSTS file?

I just tried that and it did not work.

I tried “127.0.0.1” as well as my actual IP.

No go.
