Can''t connect ICQ + AIM

Hi all!

Thanks for the great piece of Software! i know it is beta, but i have problem with ICQ + AIM Transports. when i add my ICQ or AIM account to the Registrations, the jabber client does not login, he kill the connections in the same second. MSN and yahoo works fine.

which logfile needs it?

(sorry my english, i learn it )

Actually we are experiencing this same problem as well. If any user tries to register with AIM or ICQ the server returns an end stream to the client and the client cannot login again until the aim or icq regisatraiton is deleted.

Let me know what logs are needed or any other information that would be helpful and I’'ll send it along

An end stream and that’'s it? Nothing else? =/

I couldn’'t get on either. I restarted Spark just now though and now ICQ works. shrugs

Same here. This is the debug log when I try to register ICQ transport:

I’'ve tried Psi and JAJC clients, neither of them work.

Could you open up the xml console in psi, enable it, and send me a copy of the communication between Psi and Wildfire as you log in? I’‘m curious to see what’‘s going on. It -looks- like you are literally disconnecting right after connecting, so I’'m wondering if the im gateway plugin is causing a stream error or something.

I have the same problem. I do have a huge buddy list and tons of buddy’'s with wierd statuses and screen names.

Same result with both AIM and ICQ. My ICQ only has 1 buddy and he has not been on for years. I will try to do a tcpdump on my firewall of the connection between my jabber server and the internet.

My packet dump shows no attempt to connect to AIM. I see the MSN and Yahoo connections but not AIM.

I dont know XML but when I followed the stream it left off the > for the </iq

</stream:stream

Need any more Information? Anything else I should try? Works great for Yahoo and MSN!

GATE-88

it works great now with 1.0 Beta 4

What the… ok well I’‘m going to close the issue then. Thanks for letting me know! I really don’'t know what exactly fixed it.

Works great for me 2 another bug(Unknown error from MSN: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset) but I will put it in another thread thanks now my wife can use her AIM again

I actually fixed that MSN issue in SVN saturday. =D
