Changed OU name in AD, now LDAP auth fails

Hello, I am using LDAP authentication against our Active Directory. I recently renamed a couple of the OU containers in the tree and authentication started failing for those people in the renamed OU containers. I renamed the OU containers back to the old names and it works again. But I need to rename these OU containers - so how do I get OpenFire to re-read the AD user tree?

Whats your base dn look like? Is it using one of the OUs thats being renamed?
