We have a naming convention for servers such as sf-openfire-1. We like to use aliases to make it easier for users to remember, such as jabber.company.com.
When users add buddys or search the directory, they have to search for user@sf-openfire-1.company.com. All users are authenticated against an Active Directory domain.
Is it possible to configure the server so that people can be added and searched for using user@company.com or just user?
