This is a new install of openfire-3.6.0a-1 and Spark 2.5.8, that I’ve rolled out to about 10 clients. In a couple of cases, IM is only working one way. So one client can IM another, but not receive the reply. In one case, we were able to fix this by removing the contacts from the roster and re-adding them, but this is not working in at least one case.
Anyone heard of this before? Any suggestions for troubleshooting or fixing?

I re-installed the client on this one PC and it is now working. I have no idea what went wrong…
Spark 2.5.8 has many know bugs that you could have run into. you may want to try 2.6.0b2. also if the user is not approved on the other end chats may not work as expected.
Well, still no luck. We upgraded to 2.6.0 beta 2 and we are still seeing the same behavior.
Funny thing is, we can’t “remove from roster”. I’m guessing this is because I’ve pushed groups down from the Openfire server? This works for most of our users, but a few cases it is a problem.
Another interesting bit is that the buzzer works, but no text gets sent.
Any suggestions for troubleshooting?
