What kind of performanceboost can we expect?
Guus,
Gato did performance optimization using a profiler (something we try to do every few months). Basically, that means finding hotspots in the code and then optimizing them whenever possible. This set of changes resulted in a 30% performance improvement when measured through the optimizer. It’‘s hard to tell exactly how that translates to real-world usage, but I would guess it’'s somewhere near that number.
