Chat transcript to follow login name

I’ve just installed open fire with embedded database option.

If I switch the computer and log-in from a different computer, then the chat history is different.

Is there a way to set-up openfire/spark so that the chat history follows the login name independent of the machine the user logs in?

I appreciate any help.

Currently there is no option to store the history on the server and retrieve it from the client. There is a protocol for that, but none of Openfire and Spark support that.
