Chat window does not display text after user presses Enter

For just one of my users, typing in the bottom pane of a chat window and pressing Enter does not display the text in the conversation pane above. However, when the recipient responds, then both the original text and the response appear. Although this is not a terrible problem, the user can never be sure her text was sent, so she presses Enter multiple times (which looks crazy to the recipient).

Is there a setting that controls this behavior? Or do you recommend a remove/reinstall of the client?

I suppose you are using pre-2.7.0 version (2.6.3 maybe)? You can try wiping out this user’s profile under C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Spark (history will be lost) and starting with a fresh one. But this problem will come back probably. This issue has been fixed since the 2.7.0 version.
