I’‘m looking for the cheapest web host that allows the Wildfire Jabber server to be installed. I fell in love w/ this server after running it on a company intranet for about a year. We now need to have the server exposed and I’'d prefer not to punch a hole in our firewall.
Right now we’‘re using DreamHost which includes a Jabber server, but it’'s not Wildfire. I have a Virtual Server account at Media Temple that I can install it on but would prefer not to since this site is used to host a number of important applications.
Does anyone know of any turn-key Wildfire hosting or a cheap host that allows apps to be installed (most likely requiring root access)?
Any help would be appreciated.
