We are in the process of upgrading the platform on our host Pidgin server. In doing this, we are going from a Linux based host and moving to a Win 2K8 host. We have successfully set up the new server and all LDAP groups are good to go. Everything looks good. But…
We have now noticed that if a client has made personal groups within their Pidgin client interface (2.7.3) and has properly added members to those groups, this information is stored on the server and is not local to the client machine… So, as we were doing our final testing, nobody’s personal groups and/or members or those groups were visible.
How do I properly export all the user created groups from one server and import them into the new host server? Can this be done?
