i’'ve been trying to have a multichat with a user from jabber.org server, one user from my server (jive) and myself, with an account from my server

i can invite the user who uses my server, but when i try to invite the other one he doesn’'t see anything.

any ideas on what i can do to solve this?

Which JM version are you using? Have you tried using JM 2.3.0 beta 1 that includes many s2s bug fixes? You may want to enable the debug log to gather more information. Feel free to post any error you might see in the logs.
