Connection recovery if LDAP fails

I’'ve been using wildfire with LDAP authentication for a little while and it works great.

Now I’'m examining how well things recover if the system has to restart. I am wondering if wildfire can recover if LDAP is unavailable when wildfire first starts up, but can access it later when it does come up? Will wildfire automatically try to reconnect to LDAP each time a user tries to login? Does using the LDAP connection pooling complicate the recovery at all?

Any experience/comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jenny
