Connection with Active Directory

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to connect my OpenFire 3.8.2 with Active Directory in a testing environment.

I’ve configured everything as described under http://community.igniterealtime.org/docs/DOC-1554, but I don’t get a connection. Besides that the “Test Settings” button doesn’t work, this problem seems to exist since OpenFire 3.8.0 (http://community.igniterealtime.org/thread/49696)?

Here’s an image with my configuration http://1.imgland.net/y0HD7i.png and here is an image of my AD tree http://1.imgland.net/307tsQ.png.

Can you see a mistake there?

Thank you for your help in advance, I’m looking forward to your answers!

Hi, Patrick. Excuse me for my english. I’m from Russia. I had installed on my virtual machine (windows xp sp3 - client, my openfire server on linux without gui) latest version chrome browser, and try to openfire admin/setup page. This button (test settings) is working now for active directory profile. If I’m testing this button from host on Windows 8 and latest chrome - it doesn’t working. Version openfire - 3.8.2 on Linux CentOS 6.4.

Try this advice and write me. Thank you.

Hello, I installed the version 3.7.1 and works ok. After I upgraded to version 3.8.2 also works ok
