I run openfire with more than 1500 users and I have an issue with the contact list group sharing. If there are less than 1500 users in the group, then all users can be shared in the contact list. But over 1500, there are none.
I think that this is an issue due to the LDAP query made to retrieve the members of the group. Active Directory on Windows Server 2003 allows only 1500 results.
But I thought that Openfire handled paged LDAP queries which would allow to retrieve more than 1500 results and thus allowing the sharing.
Could you confirm me that Openfire does the paging when requesting the members of the group and if not, how to enable sharing of more than 1500 users?
