We have a production openfire 3.7.1 server, running on an old machine I want to migrate to a new OS version. The idea is to start with a fresh machine, and reinstall everything from scratch, including openfire 3.8.2.
Openfire installation (which is linked to an open-ldap server) is almost done, but contacts status update does work at all in our jabber clients. All contacts look like offline, even if we can chat together, and even if I can see they are connected in the admin panel.
I can send administrative services, they all pop-up on our screens.
Does anyone have an idea what to check here?
