Content Filter Is Unusable

Is there anyone else who’s been having issues where “content filtering” has been unstable and locking up their Openfire server?

I reported this issue over a year ago and it was suggested that maybe we should use an actual database and not the embedded one. We have switched to using MySQL and followed the setup guide. But still we cannot use the content filter plugin as the server starts dropping connections and crashing openfire!

Is there another alternative to this plugin? We’d really like to have this feature to help keep certain “racial slurs” out of the chats.

I’m afraid there is no alternative and this plugin is very old and probably won’t be updated by its author.

Ok then. I guess this means when time permits. My devs will have to attempt making our own.
