Database restart

I’'m using Wildfire 2.6.0 Beta (March, 31 build) with an Oracle database that, unfortunally, is not working very well these days. That instability makes me have to restart Wildfire everytime database server is restarted.

Is there a way to Wildfire restore database connections by it self?

Hi Francis,

no, there isn’‘t. According to Gato version 2.x (not 2.6) may contain a new connection pool but I’'m not sure if reconnect works with it.

If you have a lot of time to test a new connection pool using a test database you may ask Gato to get an alpha-release.

Hey Guys,

We’'ve moved this issue on track for the 2.6.1 release:

JM-343

Cheers,

Alex

That’'s great.

PS: I’'d like to test it… Please let me know when the code is in the nightly builds…

So did this get pushed back to a 3.0 release feature?

I just ran into a situation where it would have been real nice to not have to restart Wildfire after I made some MySQL config changes…
