Is anyone interested in keeping the option to post status updates?
I’d like to disable them as they are not used here.

Disablwe them already, nobody cares Personally last time i ever saw one is left by a spam bot, because they usually post in every form available…

I don’t think this has been done yet. Would you like me to provide some assistance? I’m not sure the settings for this are obvious.
At least for me the “New >> Status” link is gone after the restart.
And I did also modify the personal content settings: No private blogs, documents or discussions.
