Disconnections on spark 2.5.7 client with openfire 3.3.3

We are facing frequent disconnections with openfire 3.3.3 and spark 2.5.7 on spark client every 30-40 seconds, sometimes 1 minute.

Does spark client send “keep alive” packets onto the server to keep the connection alive.

I could not trace any thing on the openfire server regarding this error.

do you have screensaver activated in your desck top that will make that happen try disabel screensaver.Other thing that will do that is more than one messenger logged in to same user name.Hope this helps

Can I just add that everyone at my company experienced serious performance issues using 2.5.7

issues included:

frequent disconnects

CPU usage spikes (50-90% CPU usage)

memory leaks that would cause spark to start to crank up how much memory was allocated.

To resolve most of us downgraded to lower spark versions until 2.5.8 was released and then after 2.5.8 was released we upgraded to 2.5.8 and the issues have been resolved for the most part.
