I’‘ve seen a few threads about something similiar but they really didn’'t answer the question I have. Is there any option I can set or change that will make Jive display the users real name instead of their login ID on the client end? We are using LDAP, and it is grabbing the username so I would think there would be a way to use it.
In our Jive admin with LDAP the users are listed by login ID, but the client we’'re using(Psi) does show the real names. Which client are you using?
Make sure you have this in the LDAP section of the jive config:
Hrm… interesting - in my LDAP setup, I use uid in the be able to determine what clients display as the name in their buddy list? Thanks.
