Dont show my contact list

Hi.

I install WildFire and Apark (both last version) in the same machine (Windows XP) form test.

I configure int admin console Gatways Settings (MSN Messenger).

In registration i need register my msn account correct (add new registration) ?

What i need put in user (JID) ? The msn email?

And username? Is MSN ou WildFire user?

And how can i link my wildfire user to this MSN user to show contact list?

Thanks and sorry for basic question.

Alessandro

The JID is your ID is wildfire and user name is your msn ID

In registration i need register my msn account correct (add new registration) ?

Yes, correct.

What i need put in user (JID) ? The msn email?

Just your username, not username@your.wildfire.server

And username? Is MSN ou WildFire user?

I have a hotmail account and I need to enter my full email address e.g. user@hotmail.com. For Yahoo transport, I just need to enter user and I don’'t know why there are differences between MSN and Yahoo transport.

And how can i link my wildfire user to this MSN user to show contact list?

Once you have successfully logged on to your MSN, your roster will be automatically populated with your MSN contacts. However, as of Beta 2, you cannot add your MSN contacts yet.

Thanks for reply, but i still cant view my contact list.

In Spark the msn icon is disable.

In registration server i put the follow information:

user (JID) - User name register in WildFire

gateway - MSN

username - my email hotmail without @hotmail.com

password - my hotmail password

nickname - my name

Any sugestion? I need enter and log in messenger ? I try this too but dont work.

Thanks

Alessandro

It works with me if I enter a full hotmail address in the “username”. Otherwise, this is what I see in my error log:

2006.09.22 01:06:38 org.jivesoftware.wildfire.gateway.BaseTransport.processPacket(BaseTransport.java :341) Exception while processing packet:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: email is not available

What are you getting in your error and debug log?

where i see log error?

It’'s in wildfire/logs directory. Or you can see the logs in Wildfire admin console.
