Has anyone considered an dotnet version of Smack, or are aware of
a good dotnet XMPP API that is combatible with Wildfire, open-source or
closed-source.

Hi,
every .net XMPP client API should be compatible with Wifi as it is an XMPP server.
A .net version will probably not be developed by Jivesoftware as it would be useless for Linux and MacOS clients.
