I setup an Openfire server and when I create the user accounts and add them to a group their name appears twice. Do you know when this is happening?
There name appears twice where, in the client? If you are refering to the client the will appear as many times as groups they have membership (John Doe belogns to group1 and group2 then when he signs in his name will show in the client under each group).
Yes the names appear twice in the client. Currently there is only one group and they are a member of that group.
If you are using Spark v2.5.7, this is a known issue and has been fixed in v2.5.8beta:
