Enterprise Plugin Problem

Hello,

I recently installed Openfire and got it going without a problem. Unfortunately, I’'ve added the Jive Enterprise plugin and it is not working properly. Openfire tries to open it over and over (“Starting Enterprise Server”) but it never really starts. On Occasion the Enterprise tab appears (I was able to add the Evaluation license), but then it disappears and the plugin does not appear in the available plugins. Also, the warn.log indicates the following every 8 seconds: “Error unloading plugin enterprise. Will attempt again momentarily”. In the error.log I saw the following after I restarted the server after a reboot: org.jivesoftware.util.log.util.CommonsLogFactory$1.error(CommonsLogFactory.java: 87) Line=19 The content of element type “dwr” must match “(init?,allow?,signatures?)”.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Mark

I’'m running into a possibly similar possibly different enterprise issue…

I recently upgraded to the latest version of Openfire and the latest Enterprise plugin. However when I go to start the Openfire server I see the following:

Openfire 3.3.1

Admin console listening at:

http://imsrv:XXXX

https://imsrv:XXXX

Starting Enterprise Server

It sits there forever! Never returns. IM is working, I can connect to the server and the admin console. HOWEVER, if I loose my SSH connection then it kills the Openfire process. I’'ve gotten around this by running it in the background but why does the Enterprise Start never return?

I’'ve checked all the logs and nothing is showing up…

I did change the default ports, could that cause it?

Thanks!

David
