I have been fiddling around with my ICQ message problem (see my other post below) for the past 2 days, without success.
Can anyone post a working example code fragment for sending a message via the ICQ gateway? Just opening a connection and sending the message, then closing the connection again.

It’'s the same as sending a jabber message. The jid of the receiver will likely to be icq_number@icq_agent. In order to send an icq message you will have to register with the icq transport first.
