Receiving the following error message, I’m not sure what this means, could anyone inform me of what this means exactly?

An unexpected error has been detected by Java Runtime Environment:

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x7c91ab0a, pid=2840, tid=2408

Java VM: Java HotSpot™ Server VM (1.6.0_03-b05 mixed mode)

Problematic frame:

C [ntdll.dll+0x1ab0a]

this means that the JVM itself did have a problem. It’s likely a JVM bug and not related to Openfire.

Maybe it helps to use the current 1.6.0_21 JRE.
