Receiving the following error message, I’m not sure what this means, could anyone inform me of what this means exactly?

An unexpected error has been detected by Java Runtime Environment:

Hi,

this means that the JVM itself did have a problem. It’s likely a JVM bug and not related to Openfire.

Maybe it helps to use the current 1.6.0_21 JRE.
