Fastpath WebChat Src Updates: Separates Host & XMPP Domain Settings - documentation/help

Please, someone could document it? I did not understand anything that needs doing, there are days I’m trying to solve this problem and can not!
Links to download and plugins_webchat.jat webchat.war this page do not work, the connection closes before the end and when it restarts, it starts downloading from the beginning. A project of this size should have documented and corrected it by putting webchat.war corrected for the users.
Someone guide me on how I make my webchat connects in openfire??
Thank you.

The d/l links work for me OK. The webchat.war designated for plugins. Rename the war file from “plugins_webchat.war” to “webchat.war”. In the Openfire Admin console, under plugins, load this file. Under the ‘Fastpath’ tab, test connection, and type in your configuration settings. Use the spark client, and create a user that will manage the Fastpath queues.

Look this…

Anybody can upload this plugin to 4shared please?

Thanks!

Ok, i rename plugin_webchat.war to webchat.war and load in tab fastpath, then put the other file webchat.war (3.6mb) in weapps, and not working.

http://localhost:9090/webchat/setup-finished.jsp

The message is the same - "Live Chat Not Available

Sorry we were not available to handle your request. Please try again later."

Thanks!

The image you posted seems to indicate the plugin setup was successful. Add an agent to the Fastpath queue, and use Spark to login to Openfire. From there it should show that the Live Chat is now open/on-line.

My setup is as follows:

name server: mydomain.com

host name: debian.mydomain.com

Plugin webchat.war is installed.

Before Spark install, Pidgin connected, now not connects anymore.

I have a Workgroup and add a user “test” with password “test”, and this is the printscreen:

Nothing works now.

Only Spark has the Fastpath IM extension to service webchat queues. Pidgin does not. That was clearly explained in the docs. Use Spark to connect to host ‘debian.mydomain.com’ with good credentials (username/password).

Worksss! \o/

Now I understand that the attendant must be logged in to the customer to see the online chat, otherwise goes offline.

Thanks for the help slicer321!!! =)
