Fastpath Workgroups and Queues

Dear All,

I have configured a single Workgroup WG1 in Fastpath .

I have assigned 4 queues, Q1 - Q4 to WG1.

I have added a single user U1 to Q1.

I have added routing rules such that I can enter the queue number into the web chat client to force the request onto one of the 4 queues.

My user U1 logs into Spark Client and into WG1.

I create a chat request via the Fastpath Web Chat Client, selecting Q1 on the form, and my user U1 sees the request, can accept and chat.

If I create a chat request via the Fastpath Web Chat Client, selecting Q2 on the form, I see a notification saying “routing your request …” which times out after the “offer” timeout has expired. As there are no users logged into Q2 of WG1, I would have expected an immediate response saying no one is available or maybe a re-route to another queue (I have tried the overflow to queue function but this does not work in this scenario)

I would appreciate any comments on whether what I am seeing is as expected or whether there is a problem.
