I have installed TomCat onto my windows server.

I can get the tomcat test page.

I unpacked the webcaht.war into my webapps/webchat folder.

I then went to localhost:8083/webchat

It asked me for my server domain and such. Here is my chat-settings.xml…

abc-dev 5222 false -1

My xmpp.domain = abc-dev

I go to the ‘Group Chat’ tab in openfire and there is one room listed.

Workgroup demo Chat Room(workgroup-demo)

I added this code to my html page:

Nothing shows up.

If i go to localhost:8083/webchat

It says…

List of available workgroups within Fastpath

Click on one of the following workgroups to join.

However there are no workgroups listed.

Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? Any help or tips would be much appreciated!

Thanks so much!

For fastpath to work if it is going to be used via the internet you need to have your openfire server configured with a fully qualified domain name that is resolvable via internet DNS.

Thanks for your fast answer!

Ok well now I got the workgroup to show up!

So I am logged into trillian, and it shows im active in openfire. But it says waiting for member in fastpath. I am using jabber.

I have added my user to my workgroup by browsing for it… not sure why it says im not active in fast path ?

Ok Installed SPARK and now I show active chats.

When I click the icon to start a chat on localhost:8083/webchat

I get this error:
