Hello, for file transfter between two machines in LAN, will it go through Openfire? Will a connection be established between the two machines to lower the burden on the server and speed up file transfer?
The issue I see is that file transfer is quite slow, and takes several seconds before starting transfering after receiver accepts it.

Maybe this does depend the client you are using. Psi does definitely sends through local network. I suggest you enable XML Log on both clients and simply look what happens there.

I’m not sure, but I think the clients try several connection methods (LAN, proxy, p2p, …) and take the best.
