I’'m just interested if there are any ideas in XIFF development team to translate XIFF library to be usable with Flex 2 product line (Actionscript 3)? There are a lot of people which are developing applications with free Flex framework and many of them are expecting to use Flex with socket connections. It would be great if Xiff/Wildfire would allow this.

This is Sean, the original developer. I’‘m in the process of getting back into design/programming work. I’‘ll consider looking into porting XIFF to AS3, but at the moment that’‘s about all I can say. I’‘ll start to consider[/i] it if nobody else is. I haven’‘t been doing much Flash or Flex work at all, and my energies have been focused on Ruby on Rails stuff, but I’'ll take a look.
