Hello, J found the problem with polish letters - have anyone confirm, that polish letters written on GaduGadu are not visible in Spark?

I can confirm that polish national letters are broken on Gadu-Gadu transport in any client.
That has something to do with server locale, if server locale is set to pl_PL.UTF-8 everything is broken (every single national character isn’t what we expect to be), with locale set to pl_PL (ISO8859-2) some characters are ok (ęółćń for example) but some not.
I think that transport should get conversion table from/to ISO8859-2 (or maybe UTF-8) to/from cp1250 (f**king MS norm that has nothing to do with PL and ISO standardts) in which GG network is suposing to work.

it’s quite interesting that the proper encoding depends on the server encoding - this should not be the case. A proper java application sets the encoding of IO streams right, so this seems to be another plugin issue which should be posted in the Kraken forum. The developer ususally uses ASCII, likely as this is fine for the U.S…
You could try one of the encodings listed on http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/intl/encoding.doc.html - windows-1250 or Cp1250
