I noticed this morning that my google talk gateway is no longer working.
Parameters that were working:
host: talk.google.com
port: 5222
If I point my Spark client at gmail.com port 5222 I am able to log in, but the gateway still can’t connect.
Is it just me?
The old gateway plugin is no longer supported here. The developer has their own site and has renamed the project kraken: http://kraken.blathersource.org/
Additionally as you have pointed out indirectly you do not need the plugin to talk to gtalk users. just add them directly to your roster. they will be added via a server to server direct link.
